The Journey to Health Team

Our journey started in the medical weight loss field in 2004, when founder Becky designed and started a program for a local hospital. After running that program for four years, she began her own company, Physician’s Choice Wellness (PCW).

After the 10th anniversary of PCW, an online version of our nationally-recognized, award-winning program was started, and we called it Journey To Health.

Our mission remains the same – to assist people in achieving a higher quality of life through nutrition, activity, and behavior modifications instead of medications. Accountability, support, and education are the pillars that help us help you achieve your goals.

Becky

My name is Becky and I am the proud mother of 7. My role is in the exercise discipline. I am a life-long athlete. My favorite sport is basketball, and I have been coaching at all levels for over 28 years. I enjoy time with my best friend (God), time with my kids, traveling, watching all sports, and working out. Being a part of YOUR journey to a healthier you is what I’m passionate about.

Patty

My name is Patty and I am your Life Coach for our program. I have over 10 years’ experience helping change your life’s story with weight loss. My goal is to help you navigate behavioral and lifestyle changes to lead you to a healthier lifestyle. Working through small daily changes can lead to big rewards and lifelong weight loss. We will address topics like food triggers, journaling your daily meals, setting goals, even what to do at family and social gatherings to keep you on track. While on our program, you can reach out to me via email with any of your questions, victories, and struggles. We are in this together!

Lainie

Hello! My name is Lainie, I’m so excited to join the Journey to Health team as a nutritionist! I have always been interested in the role that nutrition plays in our everyday life. I look forward to helping you on this journey, figuring out how best to fuel YOUR body. In my free time I enjoy traveling, going on walks, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends. I’m here for any questions you may have regarding food, nutrition, meal prepping, grocery shopping, recipe modification, and possible supplements that could fit into your diet.
